Jennifer considers herself a lifelong learner with a growth mindset and an innate curiosity. This desire to study new subjects, take vocational courses, and take on internships and apprenticeships has led her to graduate from multiple programs and complete contractual work for top social media, engineering, and technology companies. Based in California, Jennifer has had the privilege of contributing to national defense and civilian safety projects. She has helped design spacecraft parts and tooling and published media for the Coast Guard Auxiliary. As a Flotilla Staff Officer, she worked with her unit to promote safe waters and reduce the unnecessary loss of life in recreational boating.
More recently, Jennifer has studied in-depth the target metrics of social media platforms and contributed to initiatives affecting up to 180 million US users (3 billion worldwide users) in the digital space. Social media has become the primary source of news online, and personal media consumption has surpassed traditional media in recent years. With so many of us connected to our devices, including computers, phones, tablets, gaming consoles, and televisions, the digital space has become national importance and now requires the same level of security and consideration as city infrastructure and airspace.
She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a major in mechanical engineering and business economics, followed by a vocational certificate in technical writing from Loyola Marymount University. After achieving her educational goals, Jennifer pursued additional growth through Dale Carnegie Training, Facebook Career Connections, and the COOP Careers Digital Marketing Program. These are job development programs sponsored by government committees and tech companies.
If she’s not at the computer, you can usually find her on that daily grind at the gym.
