Vasilia Niles is a digital nomad and futurist enthusiast who travels to connect dots between different cultures. She believes the answer to designing things that will make the world a better place lies in the interconnectedness of our belief systems and habits. Even though we seem different on the outside, we are all, in fact, the same species, and understanding and empathy are the keys to solving all of the planet’s problems.
Vasilia studied Molecular Biology and International Relations at UCLA but eventually became a filmmaker. After attending a coding bootcamp, she made a radical career shift that has allowed her to live the life she’s always dreamt of. However, her biggest passion lies in writing since it’s a powerful medium for transmitting knowledge and emotions. Vasilia is also a published poet and is currently working on her second book.
She loves attending festivals, dancing, tinkering with 3D printing, and designing clothes in her spare time.
